Game Modes: Cooperative (12 players) , CTF (40 players), TDMC (Up to 6 VC versus up to 6 US), DMC (12 players kill eachother).

Mission Debriefing: While supporting operation JUNCTION CITY, the 1/26th Inf was air assaulted on Mar 26 into an LZ near Ap Gu, 25 miles northeast of Tay Ninh city to search for a suspected enemy basecamp. Several fortified positions were found but only small contacts were made with the enemy. On Mar 30 while patrolling north of their NDP, heavy contact was made. The VC assault and the fire fight that followed lasted two days.

This map was entered in the Custom Map Contest for 11-29-07
It is a jungle map with streams, waterfalls, caves, US tent compound, and VC village.

This is an updated editing pack with very easy to understand text notepad tutorials. Please install the editor prior to setting up the levels folder within your Vietcong main folder.

Within this pack includes my terrain VET_AP_GU i made for the custom map contest. I have stripped everything from it except the waypoints, and a few other objects. (Palm Trees from VC2, Termit Mound, US Tent, and Grass)

The scripts for 52 VC are also included (compliments from our lead scripter SAS_OZ)...these scripts are a combination of VET_ATTLEBORO and the recent VET_AP_GU maps to a certain degree...

So have fun placing the objects, ambient nature sounds, and nature foliage, and of course the 52 VC...

I decided to make this update after reviewing the older Editing Pack i created,..things have drastically changed since then...

They can move again when first VC is killed. If they join befor the fight begin they are not armed and they have to pickup any weapons from dead bodies.

This is my first map with REAListic mode, so the map can have some bugs. Pls report to me.

Copy the .cbf and .dat file into your vietcongmaps folder (create if necessary) and play!
You can remove the older NioGianh files but that isnt necessary to get the Fist Alpha sounds working.


Gamemodes:

DTDM -team deathmatch, you spawn in a team, and after some deaths the spawnsets changes and the combat area is somewhere else!

COOP -kill the nva-officer in the village and get back to the drop-zone
ATG -Eliminate the opposing team to win the round.
