Presentation :

My main objective with the "VC_maps" is to stay as close as possible the original ones but "corrected" to have the nicest versions, free of bugs, for the best gameplay and immersion!

The mission : "Operation Tin Can"
-----------------
We have found the tanks but they are not a threat.
They are only old and rusty french tanks and with a closer inspection, these wrecks are decades old.
Now, we are going to help Shrew Three to eliminate the remaining enemy forces, but they are not answering the radio...
Something happend!

Notes :

VC_FrenchRoute_B is the sequel of VC_FrenchRoute_A from the "Operation Tin Can" mission (2 maps)!
I strongly advise you to download and play both maps as "one mission"! ;)

Modes :
----------
Coop:
The "classic one" we all know, with...
-Addition of extra weapons (they will depend of the mission)!
-The weapons will disappear if you drop them on the ground but...
-Extra weapons will reappear.

Coop':
The "classic one" we all know but...
-WITHOUT the extra weapons!
-The weapons WON'T disappear if you drop them on the ground!
-Kills and Deaths are hidden by pressing the "TAB" key.

Discovery:
This "mode" is the Coop one but without the vc bots; ideal to "discover" the map, set tactics, take screenshots or...whatever!
In this mode, don't use the whole team as the respawn method or avoid to die (no respawn)!

3dsmax6Plugins.rarCreate a file called PteroMax plugins...put this .rar in that folder...extract contents in there...cut paste contents of each folder in the respective folders within your Max program folder...

Put "contents" of cfg folder into your Max cfg folder.
Put "contents" of plugins into your Max plugins folder.
Put pterotools folder (located in the scripts folder) into your Max scripts folder.
Put "contents" of startup folder (located in the scripts folder) into your Max startup folder
Put "contents" of discreet folder (located in the UI folder) into your Max discreet folder.
Put "contents" of icons folder (located in the UI folder) into your Max icons folder.
Put "contents" of macroscripts folder (located in the UI folder) into your Max macroscripts folder.

Good job soldiers! You succeeded to "re-take" the radio relay from the Vietcong's hands!!! Unfortunately, we lost 6 men during the battle... For the moment all is quite, we are keeping the relay but things are going to be worst... During the bodies evacuation, our Huey spotted new Vietcong waves coming to our position!
This time, it's to our turn to defend the relay!!!

vcdst.zipvcdt.gifOK, I'm finally releasing this since I refuse to develop it any further. I'm releasing it without any documentation.

Main features include:

- Automatic server restart on all types of server/map crashes. Also supports crash logging.

- Automated server messages. You can have up to 2 different server messages on separate timers for displaying rules, announcements, etc.

- Automatic map changer; will change the map after x number of minutes of inactivity or remaining map time.

- Ability to run a 'whole team respawn' coop server using an external dedicated settings file.

After running VCDST for the first time, double click the tray icon and configure your server settings. Then, right click the tray icon and select 'Start Server'.

Gamemodes:
CTF -normal ctf
RADIO -there's one radio on the map, get there as quickly as you can and play your sides music for 2 minutes to win the round!
DTDM -team deathmatch, you spawn in a team, and after some deaths the spawnsets changes and the combat area is somewhere else!
SWAP -kill to make your team bigger, everyone you kill joins your team!
COOP -kill the nva-officer in the village and get back to the drop-zone
